Tonight’s presentation about TRANSIT\ION’s work looked back at their projects developed in India in 2009 and 2010. It also gave us some clues on their new, Folkestone project that will be revealed to everyone at LOW&HIGH on Saturday. TRANSIT\ION’s piece ‘Premise’ will be on view at LOW&HIGH space till Saturday.
The culminating event of Erica Scourti’s and Sydney Hart’s micro-residency ‘Vacant Value’ – ‘Report’, focused on regeneration, commodities and visibility. We ‘travelled’ from 1851’s Hyde Park via Chicago to Pre-Triennial Folkestone.
The artists’ performative, auto-fictional presentation developed into discussion with active participation of the audience.
